CLOTHES FOR CHARITY is dedicated to providing funding for non-profit organizations through the collection and distribution of used clothing and household items. We have experience of providing funding to non profit organizations for over 30 years.
Clothing pickup operates 3 main programs:
Residential or Door to Door pickups
Clothing Drop Boxes
Clothing Drives
By Donating Your Used Clothing to One of Our Programs You Can:
1: Help the environment. Over 85% of used textiles end up in the landfill.
2: Help provide jobs in our local area. (Clothes for Charity employs over 60 full time and part time people).
3: Provide funding for non profit organizations.
The organizations we fund, vary in size and objectives but they all have one thing in common they need financial assistance to carry out their objectives and through clothing donations you provide the necessary funding to carry out their work.
Clothes for Charity collects clothing and household items which are then sold in bulk to thrift stores.
These stores are all in the USA. Proceeds from that sale are used to fund our local charity partners.
The stores we work with provide low cost quality items, as well as jobs and services in their community. They empower people by providing clothing, etc. for themselves and their families by selecting a large quantity of quality items so they can find items that fit, and also choose the color and style they want at a very affordable price. Most of the stores carry over 20,000 garments. The thrift stores also provide jobs for over 25 full and part time employees.
